Media Arrangement for the 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and Related Meetings (AMM 53)

CMSC Please allow the Sub-Committee on Communications and Culture of the National ASEAN 2020 Committee to provide reporters with the media arrangement for the 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and Related Meetings (AMM 53).
The 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings (AMM 53) will take place on the 9th, 10th and 12th of September 2020 at the Government Guesthouse, 12 Ngo Quyen, Ha Noi. These are the key Foreign Ministers’ Meetings of Viet Nam's Chairmanship of ASEAN 2020. Media arrangement for the meetings is as follows:
GENERAL RULES
- Press ID cards are issued by Viet Nam Ministry of Foreign Affairs to accredited media representatives. Press ID must be visibly worn at all time at the meeting venues and press working area.
- Due to limited space and for security reason, most events are restricted to a limited number of media representatives with priority given to photographers/cameramen and will be arranged through press pool.
- Press ID cards are categorized as follows:
+ HB pass: For media personnel of host broadcaster and host photographer.
+ Press pass: For accredited media access to the press working area.
+ Pool pass: For accredited media accessto the Meeting venues with priority given to photographers/cameramen. Pool pass shall be distributed on daily basis (for example “the September 10 Pool pass”). Pool pass must be visibly worn together with Press pass.
- Vietnam News Agency (VNA) is the host photographer, Vietnam Television (VTV) is the host broadcaster of the AMM 53.
- Photos and live-feed of events from the Meeting will be provided at the press working area and available on ASEAN 2020 website atwww.asean2020.vn
- Accredited media representativesare required to strictly follow the instructions of the Organizer.
PRESS WORKING AREA
- The press working area of the AMM 53 is located at B2 hall, B building of the Government Guesthouse at 2 Le Thach Street, operating from 7AM to 9PM on the 9th, 10th and 12th of September 2020.
